How much does a website cost in Kenya?
On Shopika a complete website is KES 2,900 a year, plus KES 1,750 a year for your own .co.ke address. That is everything — the website, the address, the security certificate and business email. Paid by M-Pesa.
Do I need to know anything technical?
No. You tell us about your business in your own words and we build the website for you. When it is ready we text you a link and a password so you can change anything you like.
How long does it take?
Usually the same day. Your website is written and published for you, and we send you the login by SMS as soon as it is live.
Can I change it later?
Yes, all of it. It is a normal website that you own — change the words, the pictures, the prices, add pages, whenever you want.
What if I already have a domain?
You can move it to Shopika or just point it at us, and we will build your website on the address you already have.
